Paris Fashion Week: The Inside Scoop
Here at AJC headquarters we are still drooling over the dresses from the Bowie Wong Couture Show in Paris and the makeup look created for the show.
Love it too?! Well lucky for you we happen to know the make-up director herself so we’re going to show you now how to recreate the look at home.
BB Cream for the perfect base:
Apply the BB cream using your foundation brush or fingers over your whole face making sure to blend down your neck and through your hairline.
Liquid Powder Foundation for a flawless finish:
Apply the Liquid Powder Foundation using a brush - again being careful to blend well.
Gemstone Bronzer for beautiful cheekbones:
Using a contour brush, dust the Gemstone Bronzer below your cheekbones, along your jaw-line and lightly over your temples.
Mineral Shadow in Gold Minx for striking golden eyes:
Using a slightly damp eye shadow brush (this enhances the pigment), press the eye shadow over the lid making sure to blend outwards and upwards gently. Using a smaller damp brush run the eye shadow under the eye to create an eyeliner effect – blending into the corner of the eye to make those peepers really pop!
Brow Palette for perfectly defined brows:Using the angled end of the brush tap it through the brow powder. Once you have the powder on your brush you can start applying the colour to your brow. Start in the middle of your brow and using feather like motions pull it back down through the tail. Repeat this motion until the whole back end of your brows are filled in. Once you have done the back of your brow and used up the majority of the colour on your brush you can now start working towards the front. Using quick feather like motions fill in the front of your brows and brush them through. Then repeat on the other side.
Luxury Mascara for lovely long lashes:
Use a back-and-forth motion while moving the wand up your lashes will help give your lashes a curled effect. Keep repeating this until you get your lashes as thick as you want, usually 2-3 coats.
Xtreme Lipstick in Shrimp for the perfect pinky nude lip: Apply the lipstick straight onto the lip, or if you prefer you can use a lip brush to apply.
